Starting in the summer of 2006, Brooklyn Radio was developed as an alternative to commercial and satellite radio’s stagnant formats. With some of the best international and local DJs in the mix, Brooklyn Radio provides eclectic programming across musical genres. Each show, updated weekly, one hour in length, and streamed on demand, is driven by our DJs' personality and tasty selections. Balancing pop with lost gems and plenty of flavors from the independent labels, our musical spectrum is both familiar and new.

While we stand by our passion to only promote and play the best music out there, we’re also aware of the complicated legalities in a digital media age. If you feel that a sound recording is being exploited or used for anything besides promotion, it will be taken down immediately by request.

Besides our shows, we also offer an irreverent take on Brooklyn culture, nightlife, crime, and news in our daily columns that run on the front page. Snappy and full of an insider’s wit, we engage both your eyes and ears.
