Auto-tune is on everyone's voice in pop music this decade. Some of it works. Some of it needs to be flushed straight down the turlet. It's really in the way you use it, though, says Auto-tune Optimus Prime, T-Pain. He tells Sasha Frere-Jones of The New Yorker about something his dad told him while they were selling fish out of a truck in Tallahassee: “My dad said, ‘They can know what you’re using, but they’ll never know how to use it.
