Soulstatic (a.k.a Dan Martino) is a writer, DJ, and record junkie. (His parents are not impressed.) Every week, he’ll bring you that hot, hot music, both new and old, in rock, soul, funk, disco, hip-hop, reggae, and house. Like the tunes, expect an eclectic set of guests from the worlds of media and music. Or, as some like to call it, the grown up high school that is New York City. Plenty of his dirty thoughts on said place have appeared in The New York Times, Village Voice, New York Press, Flavorpill, and Turntable Lab.
